Vote for your favorite scarecrow at the festival on Saturday

How do you enter?
1. Involve your classmates, family members or employees to design a scarecrow from your choice of materials. Be creative! Must include straw or hay. Your scarecrow should have something to do with this year's theme: "Your Favorite Outdoor Activity."
2. Submit the electronic form below OR mail the paper entry form (found at the school, on the town website, or download it here) to: Becky Charland at 2269 Norway Road Kendall NY, so that it is received no later than Friday, September 30th to receive your entry number and location to display your scarecrow.
3. Bring your scarecrow to your designated spot on Kendall Road and set it up!

What are the rules and details?
- All scarecrows must have some straw or hay somewhere on them.
- Scarecrow contest is open to all ages, individuals, families, clubs, groups & businesses.
- Scarecrows must be durable and able to stand up to sun, wind and possible rain showers.
- We are not responsible for any damage to your scarecrow after it has been set up.
- Each contestant is responsible to set up and maintain their own entry at the site. If you need help, just ask!
- All scarecrows must be entered by Friday, September 30th, 2022.
- All scarecrows can remain at their location until October 30th, 2022 and then must be removed by contestant.
- Scarecrows should be tasteful, whimsical, humorous, mischievous or lovable. Please consider the children that will be viewing them.
- Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place!
- Winners will be decided by number of community votes on the day of the festival!
